This is the premier case/stand to use with an iPad around the house…The accessory pocket is cleverly designed so your power cords, headphones and so on don't come in contact with your iPad… Unlike a lot of stands, it's at home on a couch, a bed, or other soft surface… This is a well thought-out product that is going to make a lot of people happy who have been frustrated by other solutions -Mel Martin at The Unofficial Apple Weblog

This product is great! It is ideal for people who use their iPad in bed or on the couch, and it's ideal for both reading and watching movies. It is about a foot square and the padding is really soft. It also serves as a safety case for your device when it is not in use. The adjustable heights are what really set it apart. Being able to angle it that extra half or whole inch really makes a difference in the iPad user experience. I got one originally because the iPad was just a little too heavy for my weak, carpal tunneled wrists. It was a good decision on my part - this product is a wonderful buy and I definitely recommend. - Elephnt

This is a great device. If I read for too long (looking down), it makes my neck sore. Problem solved! -Judith

I gave it to my mother who had a stroke and is unable to use her right arm and hand... She is able to turn the page on the Kindle with one hand with this book support holding the Kindle in place. -Therese

I love it. -Doris

I regularly sit in my "Lazy Boy" while watching TV and using an iPad. I needed something to position the iPad at the correct angle and also to make it more comfortable. This item works perfectly. It has a soft cushion for your lap and the top has an adjustable shelf to angle your tablet. it is very simple but constructed well and works! - Wackbag

I couldn't use the iPad in bed without it. -Ben

We just got our new iPad 2, and wanted to find something comfortable to use when sitting, in bed or whatever. This fit the bill with a padded bottom that my Wife wanted, and an adjustable tilt that I felt was necessary. It also has a small pocket to slide stuff to carry around; we use it for the stylus for the kids to use when they practice their spelling or our oldest his cursive… - D. Delora

My husband and I each have one and they have made a big difference in how much time we spend on our lap tops and ipads. The Prop 'n Go is well made and easy to use. It keeps the heat off my legs when I am using my laptop. I use it with my Kendall Reader, cookbooks and magazines. It is great. It was worth the wait. - Terre

Love the iPad lap desk. -Barbara

Ever since I got my iPad 2 I seldom let it leave my side. When I am watching TV I use it to browse the TV Guide, check out what I am watching on the Internet Movie Database, shop on Amazon, etc. One thing that I discovered pretty quickly was that my regular leather case just wasn't going to work for me. It had to be set on a flat, solid surface or else it would fall over and I needed to have more choices of angles than just one. I received a Targus Lap Lounge and really liked it, however, it was hard to type on since it moved when I touched it. Also, I have to take it out of my travel case in order to put it on the Lap Lounge. Many people buy an iPad partly because it looks to sharp. Putting my sleek, black iPad on the beige, plastic Targus was kind of like wearing an old pair of sneakers with a tux. When I received my Prop 'n Go I was hoping for something better and better was what I got. This new design is covered with a suede-like felt over a foam core. It is gives me a solid base to type on and allows me to use it while it is still in it's case. In addition I can use the same stand for my Kindle, my tablet computer, etc. I decided to make a short video review that compares the two products feature for feature. After I posted the video I realized that during one part I confused my iPad for my Kindle. I guess that it is a case of too many gadgets and not enough mind. I hope that you find the video to be helpful. -Timothy B. Riley

What I am really drawn to is the ability to adjust the angle of my iPad. -Carole

Prop 'n Go Lite is PERFECT for use with my tablet....laying down, sitting up - it makes positioning my device MUCH easier for use. Compact enough for use during travel. I'm greatly enjoying it and so glad I chose this model. - Audrey W.

I received this lap pillow for a birthday gift and love it. I use it with my nook but works well with my iPhone and books. This is the perfect gift to get any reader. - Judy Shoup

It's just as it appears in your pictures, clips, and description, and is perfect in all kinds of positions when using the iPad -Ronni

It works perfect for my iPad whether I am using it in the car or at home. Durable, well made, ease of use, if you have problems with the muscles in your neck or shoulders when reading, this is a God send. -Kathy

I really love this product for my ipad - and in fact should get a commission as I've already talked at least one friend into buying one :) -Janice

I absolutely love the Prop 'n Go Lite Hybrid Lap Stand. It is perfect for sitting in my recliner and reading with my Kindle 2. I went through leaning my Kindle against a pillow on my lap for years, and wishing I had a specially shaped wedge cushion to hold it. Then I discovered that others had had the same idea. I tried out the "Prop 'n Go," and the Ipevo MEPX-04IP IPEVO Cushi Pillow Stand for iPad and iPad 2 - Blue Denim and the Adjustable Laptop Table with Cooling Fans Portable Laptop Laidback Computer Desk Bed Tray Book Stand Multifuctional & Ergonomics design dual layer tabletop up to 17 3/4". Of all three, I think the Prop 'n Go is, by far, the best.
I read for hours at a time, and I love the comfort of the Prop 'n Go, and the simplicity and ease of adjusting the reading angle to the perfect position, the soft cushion for you lap, and the smaller size to make it easier to carry, store, or simply sit out of the way on an end table when not in use. Also, I have the old K2 that requires a push on the side bars to advance the page. So I find the open space created by the angle of the prop very handy. I can actually rest my hand on the side of the Prop 'n Go, with my fingers curled behind the Kindle in the open space created by the prop, and then I can push the K2 page advance bar with my thumb. I don't really understand the need for the non-slip strips. I think they don't really come into play when your Kindle is propped up at an angle, as the small bar at the bottom holds the Kindle in place. However, I have not had any issues with them as other reviewers have mentioned, so I assume the problem has been fixed. Also, I keep my Kindle in a soft padded case with a front cover that zips open and folds backs behind the Kindle. There is enough room between the angle, and the bar at the bottom of the Prop 'no Go to accommodate my Kindle while in its case. So I don't have to remove the protective case from my Kindle to read. The angled lap cushion on the Prop 'n Go also raises the Kindle screen to a more comfortable level for viewing. I don't have to bend my neck as much as when my Kindle was simply propped against a pillow in my lap. If you have a Kindle Touch, I think this would be even more of a consideration, as there's no keyboard at the bottom to raise the screen a little higher.
When I tried the Ipevo Cushi Pillow, there was only one angle. It worked okay, and was certainly better than a pillow in my lap, but for me it was not as handy as the Prop 'n Go, as I missed the angle adjustment feature. Also it was difficult to curl my hand around the back of my Kindle, as there's no open space there. In its favor is the fact that it's all fabric and cushion--there's nothing to break if you fall asleep while reading, and the cushion is removable, allowing you to wash the covering fabric.
The Adjustable Laptop Table was nice too--but a lot more hassle to adjust, and bigger and heavier to carry around, and as with the Cushi Pillow, there's no room to curl my hand around my Kindle. Also, unless your recliner chair arms are really wide apart, the legs of the table may not fit between the chair arms to rest on the seat cushion, although it would work well on a sofa. Also, I think it might be nice in the summer time, when it feels too hot to have even a small cushion on your lap. I think this product is really more intended for laptops, although it will work with iPads and Kindles.
So after having tried all three, I still came back to the Prop 'n Go as the absolute, hands-down, best product for reading my Kindle. I really, really love it, and would highly recommend it to anyone with a Kindle. - Bookfantastic

This lapdesk for the iPad is a must have if you use an iPad! -Sherrill

I love this thing. I use it for my Kindle and my iPad all the time when I'm sitting on my couch. I had the earlier, vinyl version -- it's was bigger and the vinyl ripped in several places (I covered the rips and still used it). This one, even though it's small, seems sturdier. No cons. It just does a great job. - S. Stonick "Cyberspastic"

It makes it, not only possible, but pleasurable to use the iPad in bed, on the sofa. -Bernard

I will not use my Viewsonic Gtab without it while at the house. -Jeromy

Best lap desk I have ever bought! And I have bought a bunch of them! -Sherri

...much needed for the Kindle, and was very appreciated as a gift. -Carleen

I really lucked out spotting this prop, because I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have to go through the learning process of finding a vinyl pillow too hot, or props that didn't have enough angles. First time out, I ended up with a cool, comfortable prop which will hold tablets, books, and other stuff, as long as I can get it away from my husband. He's getting his own for Christmas! If there were problems with earlier models, they had ironed them out by the time I got mine. Highly recommended. - Geezer "mizbooks"

The best iPad stand! -Cathy

Met Ben from Padded Spaces who just demoed and launched a snazzy new iPad case. Check it out -Toastcowboy

Absolutely the best iPad case I've encountered -Jim

I just ordered this for my kindle because my hands also get tired because I read for hours at a time. - CarolinaGirl

Nice folks - emailed me back in minutes when I had a couple of questions. I checked if having a cover on the device would interfere, and was told it was fine; in fact one of the videos shows the same cover I have on the ipad. - Bjeans

Padded Spaces a pensé à vous en créant le Prop 'n Go, un dock qui va vous permettre de positionner votre iPad dans différents angles, confortablement installé sur vos genoux grâce à son support rembourré et à ses crans de réglage. -VIPad.fr

Prop 'n Go is an outstanding product -Chuck

With neck fusion surgeries that have left me with virtually no movement in the neck and extremely limited movement of both arms, I was losing the ability to use my small electronic equipment. I had not used my beloved Kindle in over a month. My home computer is fitted with a gas airlift, but similar devices are not made for smaller items. I decided to order this item to see if I could use the devices again. I expected that I would have to ask my husband to return it. It was a very happy surprise to see this product simply holds my Kindle and iPad while I read. I am extremely grateful to the company for manufacturing it and to Amazon for carrying it. -Land of enchantment

Thank you, Prop 'n Go! -Shanna

Padded Spaces makes my favorite lap top desks! -Will

I just ordered Prop 'n Go Lite - Hybrid Lap Stand for iPad & Kindle with Adjustable Angle Control for my unexpected ipad2 - and it's for the Fire as well. It can even be used for DTBs!. - Bjeans

...an adjustable stand that works on your lap as well as it does on a reclined belly. -Chistopher Breen at Macworld.com

WOW! This thing is amazing. -Clint

Prop 'n Go allows me to use my iPad hands-free, and it can be easily adjusted to the perfect viewing angle, which makes it great for watching videos wherever you wish. It's reasonably small but sturdy and appears to be well-built. I've only used it for about a week and haven't experienced any of the problems that some have reported with the grip strips (that hold the iPad in place) peeling off. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product, and expect to get a lot of use out of it. -Shawcago

I'm very happy with it. -Pamela

In the last day since I received this I have tried as many positions as i could think of with this stand ( iPad Kama Sutra ) short of the tub, I'll skip that one.
The results are in... This is the most useful iPad stand out there as far as I'm concerned.
In bed, slouched on the couch and on a desk... Perfect!
If you've been looking for an all purpose stand for you're iPad you can bet that this will work for whatever you have in mind. -Frank Stuart

I ordered this for my Mom for Christmas so thought I would test it out in my room while relaxing in bed. Kept testing it. Wrapped it for Christmas but not before getting on Amazon to order one for me. I like the adjustment feature. -Prairiewoman "Oglala Lakota"
